Guardiola has confirmed that City have had more positive Covid cases in their squad after an outbreak last week, although some of those who missed the FA Cup win at Swindon will return. The ongoing absences could mean more academy players feature on the bench, while Cole Palmer will be hoping to play after a good game in the cup.
For Chelsea, Tuchel said Andreas Christensen will miss out after testing positive himself, while Reece James is definitely out. Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante could return, but are short of match fitness.
